Nu på lørdag er der JPVG i Svinninge, hvor jeg er assistant TD sammen med Magnus.
Jeg skal selv spille – foreløbig tee-tid kl 12, medmindre der er nogen ændringer, men jeg skal stadig være derude fra morgenstunden, da TD Magnus starter i første gruppe, så han kan nå at være tilbage inden jeg selv skal ud.
Jeg ser altid frem til et besøg i Svinninge, da banen egentlig ikke er specielt svær.. sålænge man kan ramme sine linier – dog ender jeg altid med at komme hjem med et dårligere resultat end sidst – det gør det heller ikke bedre, at en gammel-mands skade i min venstre fod har sat en voldsom dæmper på mit spil henover sommeren og efteråret – men nu ser vi.

At the end of October 2021, I am helping disc golf in Luxembourg out by co-hosting 2 PDGA sanctioned events on of their currently 3 courses. You can read more about it in the links to the registration pages below.
The course used for Minett Open 0.1 is a 9 hole course, located in Belvaux, country of Sanem. This is the newest course in the country and is probably currently the most ‘standard’ course in the country.
The holes are fairly open, but also fairly long. For this tournament, one hole has to be cancelled and replaced by a temporary hole as it shares the fairway with another hole.
I have myself not yet tried this course, but hope to be able to film a playthrough before the tournament itself.
The course used for Minett Open 0.2 is in Dudelange Park, in the town and county of Dudelange. This course is the 2nd course opened in the country – designed and delivered by DIscGolfPark France, installed by the local county – features very nice paving around the baskets and the tee-signs, wooden frames around the artificial turf teepads… and has a whopping 4 holes in a park that’s roughly 110m long and 50m wide!
Even though this tournament will feature 8 rounds in total, in order to get 2 rated rounds of 16 holes, I expect this tournament to be over really quickly.
Signup is ooen for both tournaments now and expect to close the evening before both events. In case none of the events are close to sold out, walkings might be possible.
Scoring will primarily be in Metrix, but paper scorecards will be available.
